Ramakrishnan Craker'd

Daniel Craker
Daniel Craker
Catching the action on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, the action checked to the defending champ, Daniel Craker in the cutoff position, who fired out 12,000. Raj Ramakrishnan made the call from the small blind as a third player stepped out of the way.

The pot was already juicy when the {J-Hearts} fell on the turn and Ramakrishnan decided to try and take it down by moving all in. He covered the usually stoic Craker who stood from his chair and removed his sunglasses in shock. It appeared Craker had a big decision on his hand, but he was rather quick to announce a call.

Craker: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Ramakrishnan: {J-Spades}{8-Spades}

Ramakrishnan held top pair and an open-ended straight draw, but Craker had flopped a set of sixes and they held when the river bricked the {Q-Clubs}.

A count of Craker's remaining chips saw that he had 38,900 more which Ramakrishnan handed over to leave himself with just 18,500 behind. Meanwhile Craker is up over 110,000 and in great shape.
