Tran Tripping

We caught up to this hand with the board showing {5-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and a heap of chips already in the middle.

Holding {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, Theo Tran slid a sizeable stack of chips into the middle -- a bet big enough to put opponent Mark Cornwall all in (16,600). After spending some time in the tank, Cornwall suddenly announced, "I call" and turned over {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}.

Cornwall secured the double up when the {J-Clubs} finished out the board, allowing his aces to hold.

After the hand, Tran was left with just under 50,000 in chips while Cornwall improved to 77,000.
