Chen Goes The Spit

In a first for the PokerNews live reporting team, we've just witnessed our first emergency spit at the table. We already noticed that Daoxing Chen has been taking his time over almost every decision. In a recent hand the board read {5-Hearts}

and Chen was in the tank for a long time facing a hefty bet. Out of nowhere Chen appeared to be about to vomit, and as the local TD quickly found some tissues, Chen desperately reached for a nearby bag to spit out some unknown substance he'd been eating.

While we all got a laugh from the antics, Chen went back to the hand. More minutes passed, Chen stood, still apparently thinking. Finally Mike Collins had seen enough and called for the clock and Chen instantly folded. His opponent Jicheng Su flashed {J-Diamonds}

and the two exchange some lengthy words in Chinese.

Not overly exciting poker, but certainly the potential for a great drama series.
