Matt Yates has given a chunk of his stack to John Waterman with the action playing out like so.

Waterman was under the gun when he opened to 16,000. Yates made the call from the big blind and a {4-Spades} {5-Clubs} {10-Hearts} flop was dealt.

Yates opted to check-raise a bet of 16,000 from Waterman, making it 34,500 to go. Waterman then made it 80,000 at which point Yates made it 91,000 more to go. Waterman shoved the remainder of his stack in and Yates called off the few more chips that it would cost to put a tournament life on the line.
