Kenneth Wong Eliminated in 9th Place (KRW 15,889,600)

Kenneth Wong - 9th place
Kenneth Wong - 9th place

The first player to be eliminated at the final table was Kenneth Wong. His demise began when Vincent Rubianes opened it to 35,000 from under the gun. Wong shoved from the cutoff seat and after the rest of the table was out of the way, Rubianes made the call and the two players turned their hands over.

Rubianes: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Wong: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

A classic race for Wong's life would see the board run out {4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, with the two queens enough to send Wong out in 9th place. For that effort Wong receives KRW 15,889,600 to add to his seven-figure score at the Aussie Millions in January.

Daisuke Endo Eliminated in 8th Place (KRW 21,400,000)

Daisuke Endo - 8th place
Daisuke Endo - 8th place

Another player has cracked the million and another player has been eliminated. Mortiz Ortmann started it off with an open from early position and Daisuke called from the big blind.

The flop was dealt {5-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Endo checked to Moritz. A bet of 60,000 would see Endo shove his stack all in and as quickly as he said all in, Moritz had called and the players had turned their hands over.

Moritz held {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for two overs and a flush draw, while Endo held {j-Spades}{3-Clubs} for close to nothing. The {a-Diamonds} on the turn was good for Moritz and when the {7-Clubs} hit the river, it was over for Endo who goes home in 8th place with KRW 21,4000,000.

Severino Continues His Aggressive Ways

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

After Sasa Zorc raised to 45,000 from the hijack seat, Jose Severino reraised to 135,000 from the small blind. Zorc folded and Severino won the pot.

On the next hand, action folded Severino on the button and he limped in. Moritz Ortmann checked his option in the big blind and the flop came down {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. After Ortmann checked, Severino bet 20,000 and won the pot.

Rafael Doubles Up

A double-up hand began when Jose Severino opened it up to 50,000 from under the gun. Rafael Rodrigo was in the cutoff seat when he shoved all in for 163,000 in chips. It was then back on Severino in the cutoff seat and he made the call.

The board ran out {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, with the best hand holding up.
