Welcome back to PokerNews' live coverage of the 2012 PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour Seoul Main Event here at the Paradise Casino Walkerhill in South Korea.
Day 2 is set to begin at 12:15 PM local time and 109 players are still in contention. Leading them all is Day 1b big stack Jhana Hale from Australia. He bagged up a massive 173,800 in chips and has over 40,000 more than his closest competitor, Clayton Chang with 133,000. The other four players yielding six-figure stacks include Day 1a chip leader Christopher Park (119,800), Daisuke Endo (110,300), Vincent Rubianes (104,500) and Hong Yan Bian (100,000).
Among those returning, only one player is representing Team PokerStars Pro and that is Celina Lin. She'll enter the day with 38,200, which is just over 10,000 chips short of the current average. Along with Lin, other notables back to continue the quest are Michael Guzzardi, Michael Mariakis and Andrew Scott.
The reigning Aussie Millions Main Event champion Oliver Speidel is also still alive, having flourished on Day 1a and climbing to 74,400. His fellow final table member from his big win down under, Kenneth Wong, will be coming back with 22,900.
With the top 28 places being awarded an in-the-money finish, plenty of players will unfortunately have to go home empty handed today. As it stands right now, the plan is to play down to the final two tables of action before wrapping things up. That will put the event well into the money and should take us about 10 levels of play, according to Tournament Director and APPT President Danny McDonagh.
The start of the day is just around the corner, so be sure to stay tuned right here on our live reporting pages for all of the action.

The cards are in the air for Day 2.
Early in the day and we have what seems to be one of the first eliminations.
We came to Ben McLean's table with a flop showing and with McLean in the hand against Japan's Takuya Kikuchi. McLean was first to act and threw out 5,500. Kikuchi then popped it to 16,500 which sent McLean deep into the tank.
Eventually McLean decided to put his tournament life on the life, nudging his stack into the middle of the felt. It was only a little more than his Kikuchi's raise and when the player flicked in enough to call, the two turned their hands over.
McLean's would need some help against the of Kikuchi and then the turn and river ran out the and the , it was all over for McLean as the Aussie now has plenty of time left to explore Seoul.

The action was opened by Hoi Ting Lee in the cutoff seat. It was then on Jeffrey Holbrook in the big blind and he three-bet to 6,775. Lee then put in the four-bet to 18,000. A call from Holbrook and the flop was dealt.
Holbrook took a few moments to make his decision, eventually lightly tapping the table. When it was on Lee he would quickly shove all in. The bet was too strong for Holbrook as he flicked his cards into the muck.

Hong Yan Bian raised from middle position and made it 2,600 to go. Lawrence Chung made the call from the hijack seat and everyone else folded before the dealer ran out the flop. Bian bet 3,200 and Chung made the call.
The turn card paired the board with the and Bian checked. Chung pounced at the opportunity and bet 5,400 with 47,000 behind. Bian tanked, then called.
The landed on the river and Bian studied. She then asked for a count on Chung's stack. He showed her prior to her betting 17,000. Chung raised all in. That sent Bian back into the tank and she thought for a couple minutes. Eventually, she gave it up and Chung won the pot. He showed her the for a full house.

Flop:
The play was checked to Molin and he bet 4,000. Cards went into the muck as it became Alivizatos' turn. She shoved all in and it was back on Molin who made the call.
