No Life Raft For Suzuki

Australia's Dallas Raft opened the action to 3,700 from middle position and received calls from Noriko Suzuki on his left and a call from the player on the button.

The {4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop saw Raft lead for 7,500 which prompted Suzuki to tank for quite some time. At some points it looked like she was edging her entire stack into the middle, but instead she opted to call. The button player folded and the remaining two players watched the {7-Spades} land on the turn.

This time Raft would shove all in, having Suzuki covered by a small margin. Suzuki called and sighed when her {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} had to come up against Raft's {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}. The river brought no help for Suzuki as she made her way to the exit.

Lee Chips Up

From the hijack seat, Chris Lee raised to 3,200. Sparrow Cheung called from the small blind and David Park called from the big blind. The three players took the {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop and action checked over to Lee. He fired a bet of 6,000 and only Cheung made the call.

The turn was checked by both players after the {Q-Spades} paired the board and the {10-Hearts} landed on the river. Cheung checked and Lee fired 16,000. Cheung quickly folded and Lee won the pot.

Ling Ling Leaves

There was a commotion over on Table 5, with Ling Ling Teng having a crowd of friends cheering on her double up. When we came to the table the flop showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and this is when Teng got all her chips in against one opponent.

Teng held {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and was currently in front of her opponent's {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. the {2-Clubs} on the turn was a bad card for Teng as it gave her opponent outs to a flush draw. The {3-Clubs} on the river was devastating to Teng as she joined her friends on the rail.
