Day 1b Set To Begin
The 2012 PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour Seoul Main Event is just about ready to go for Day 1b of action. Yesterday, Day 1a attracted a packed house of 129 runners with 56 of them making it through to Day 2.
At the end of the day, Christopher Park topped the field with 119,800 and has set the benchmark for the second group of players to shoot for. Also advancing from Day 1a were reigning Aussie Millions Main Event champion Oliver Speidel, Michael Gizzardi and Team PokerStars Pro Celina Lin.
Here on Day 1a, some of those expected to be in action include Team PokerStars' Raymond Wu, Bryan Huang and Angel Guillen. Guillen is a Mexican Team Pro and making his first trip to an APPT event. He's second on the all-time money list for Mexico and will be looking to add to his results with a deep run here in Seoul.
Another jam-packed room is expected for today as play kicks off at 12:15 PM local time. Things will be underway shortly and PokerNews will be on hand to provide all updates from the floor. Stay tuned!
