Tureniec Finished Off by Quads

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We're not sure of the action, but we do know that Michael Tureniec was crippled after doubling Winfred Yu. The former held {a-}{j-} on a {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} board, but it was no good as Wu had the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a full house.

Two hands later, Tureniec was in the big blind and he was facing an all-in raise from Tom "hitthehole" Middleton in the small blind. Tureniec only had around 20,000 remaining and he called it off.

Tureniec: {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Middleton: {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Middleton was surprised to discover that he was ahead, and he solidified that lead when the {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop delivered hi trips. The {3-Spades} turn made that quads, and after the meaningless {A-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Tureniec took his leave from the tournament. He stated that he may rebuy.
