Te Loses Six-Bet Pot

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Following a raise from the player in middle position, William Te three-bet the small blind to 1,100. The action returned to the original raiser and he four-bet to 3,500 only to have Te five-bet to 6,600.

After a few moments, Te's opponent would put in a six-bet amounting to 16,500. Te quickly called, and when the dealer dropped the {7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{J-Spades} flop, he fired out 12,000 only to have his opponent move all in for roughly 29,200.

Te contemplated his decision for roughly two minutes before folding while slipping to 16,450 in chips.

Zhou Blows Up the Mooney

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Xing Zhou
Xing Zhou

Defending champ Xing Zhou opened for 700 from middle position and was met by an all-in three-bet to 4,025 by Geoffrey Mooney in the hijack. Action folded back around to Zhou and he made a quick call.

Zhou: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Mooney: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Mooney seemed to know his time had come, but he waited patiently for the flop, which came down a dry {2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. The {3-Clubs} turn was a good card for Mooney as he picked up a flush draw, but he was left wanting as the {A-Diamonds} blanked on the river. Both player had made a pair of aces, but Zhou's kicker gave him the win.

Ivan Zalac
Ivan Zalac

Ivan Zalac has just approached the PokerNews blogging desk to detail us his elimination.

Zalac found himself all in with {K-}{K-} against an opponent's {A-}{K-}, and unfortunately for the Australian and ace would drop to send Zalac to the rail.

Set of Sixes for Teja

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

With around 35,000 in the pot and a board reading {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Satrya Teja bet out a hefty 11,700 and put the pressure on his opponent in the hijack. Eventually a called was made, and Teja excitedly announced, "Set." He than tabled the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. It was good as the hijack mucked his hand.
