Dinesh Alt started playing online at PokerStars four years ago and until this year had not played many live tournaments. He has certainly made an impression. Big Stacks Play

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Dinesh Alt started things off with an open to 50,000, as Kenneth Leong made the call from the big blind. The flop came down {7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{K-Spades} with both players checking before the {9-Hearts} fell on the turn. Another check from Leong was met with a bet of 65,000, which was eventually called, as the {2-Clubs} completed the board. Both players were happy to check, before Alt tabled his {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for queen-high. Leong showed his {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for top-pair, which was good to take down the pot.

Khac Trung Tran Eliminated in 9th Place (HKD173,180)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The action started with Kenneth Leong opening to 50,000 from middle position, and was called by Nan Hong in the hijack. Trung Tran looked down at his cards, and moved all in for his last 270,000 in chip from the cut-off. It folded back around to Leong, who folded, and after some deliberation, Hong made the call to see both players table their cards.

Tran: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Hong: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The flop was no threat for Tran, as it fell down {3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The {8-Hearts} on the turn made things interesting, as it gave Hong outs to a flush as well. Unfortunately for Tran, the river would come the {2-Hearts}, to give his opponent the flush, as he was the first player to be sent to the rail.

Tian Hao Eliminated in 7th Place (HKD303,000)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

In the space of one orbit, a third player has been eliminated from this tournament.

The hand started with Ling Tong opening to 45,000 from late position, before Tian Hao moved all in for 400,000 in chips. The action folded back around to Tong, who snap-called as he tabled his {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}. A shocked Hao could only stare the cards down, as he slowly rolled over his {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The flop fell down {6-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} to fill up Tong, as Hao needed running jacks to win the hand. The board ran out {3-Diamonds} and {5-Clubs} to see him leave the tournament floor in 7th place, as Tong adds more chips to his growing stack.
