Kihara Straightens Out Yuan

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Wang Ping Yuan - Busted
Wang Ping Yuan - Busted

Hoang Anh Do opened to 8,000 from under the gun and Naoya Kihara flat called from the next seat over. It folded around to Wang Ping Yuan who three-bet to 20,000 from the small blind. Do folded and Kihara stayed the course.

The flop brought {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Kihara checked. Yuan continued out for 15,000 and Kihara took little time cutting out a raise to 35,000. Yuan responded by moving all in and Kihara snapped him off.

Kihara: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Yuan: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Yuan clapped when he saw that his middle set was currently the best hand. That jubilation, however, was short lived as the dealer produced the {9-Diamonds} on the turn, giving Kihara a straight. Yuan failed to fill up when the {K-Hearts} finished off the board and Yuan was sent packing. The Team Online pro is now sitting on about 230,000.

Miyanaga checked and Li fired 10,500. Miyanaga stuck around to see the {3-Spades} hit fourth street. He checked once more and Li bet 15,500. This was enough to prompt a fold and Li took down the pot.

Jin Doubles; Yuan Crippled

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Nicky Tao Jin
Nicky Tao Jin

On a flop of {6-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Wang Ping Yuan checked over to Nicky Tao Jin who bet out an unknown amount. Yuan raised an unknown amount and Jin replied by moving all in for a bet totaling roughly about 130,000 total. Yuan went into the tank before finally opting to call.

Yuan: {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Jin: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Jin was out in the lead with his set of sixes but Yuan was drawing live to hearts. The turn was the {q-Spades} and Yuan needed to catch a heart on the river to send Jin packing. The river was the {Q-Diamonds} filling up Jin and securing him a huge double up. He's now one of the big stacks in the room with about 290,000 in chips. Yuan, on the other hand, has been crippled to 37,000.
