Tang is Here

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Devan Tang has finally shown up and raised with his tiny stack to find a caller in Guiseppe Reina. Both players checked the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop before Reina check-folded to another bet worth 12,000 by Tang on the {A-Spades} turn.

Boskovic Loses Flip to Davies

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Dejan Boskovic
Dejan Boskovic

The hope of Scott Davies for another title in Asia Pacific is still alive after three-bet shoving his pocket sixes. Dejan Boskovic had raised to 12,000 and called off for just over 130,000 chips with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. The {8-}{9-}{10-} flop gave the Australian a world of outs but running eights sent the chips to Davies. They had to count the stacks to make sure Boskovic was covered though.

Boskovic Busts Szerer

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Baruch Szerer
Baruch Szerer

Short stack Baruch Szerer moved all in for a few big blinds with the {J-Clubs}{10-Spades} and was unfortunate to find Dejan Boskovic in one seat ovr, holding the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}. There was a glimpse of hope on the {J-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, but neither the {2-Spades} turn nor the {K-Hearts} river changed anything.

Down to Two Tables

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

While writing down the last two bustouts, Seng Yee Leow and Yuanji Dai have been eliminated. From what we could gather, Leow's {Q-}{10-} failed to improve against Jack Hu's {K-}{Q-} and the latter is up to 320,000 chips.

No Good News About Raut

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Rajeev Raut
Rajeev Raut

First Rajeev Raut, who started the day as third in chips, lost most of it to Kim Wittendorff after check-jamming an eight-high flop with pocket sixes and the Dane snapped him off with pocket tens. Then, Raut shoved from under the gun with pocket threes and failed to improve against the pocket eights of Guiseppe Reina.

Thomas Ward's second attempt to knock out table neighbor Sam Chuan Aik Nee was successful while Eddy Liang also stacked up nicely in the first 40 minutes of Day 2.

And Then There Were 22

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Yan Li
Yan Li

Zheng Guo could not run up his short stack anymore and busted, same just happened to Yan Li as well. It remains unclear how she lost most of the chips early on Day 2 but the remaining 30,000 went in preflop with {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} against the {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} of Meng Dian Peng. The {4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop gave both players something with top pair and a flush draw.

However, it wasn't meant to be for Li as the {K-Hearts} turn and {8-Hearts} river both bricked.

Steicke Done for the Day in the 50K

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
David Steicke
David Steicke

David Steicke open-jammed for 93,000 out of the button and Jung Jung Tang made the call out of the big blind, holding the {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Steicke's {K-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} didn't get there on a board of {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and the field has been reduced to 24 players.
