Boris Li Eliminated in 10th Place (KRW 12,625,000)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Boris Li
Boris Li

Tyler Jennens raised to 20,000 from the cut off and was called by Boris Li in the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Li checked. Jennens reached for his chips and threw out another 20,000 in chips and was met with an instant announcement of all in from Li. The bet totalled around 140,000 in chips and Jennens made the snap call.

Jennens: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Li: {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

It was Jennens’ straight draw up against Li’s flush draw. The {q-Hearts} gave both players a pair but Jennens was still in front with the higher kicker.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board seeing Li miss out on hitting his flush or two pair and narrowly missing out on the final table.

The Final 9

After a brief introduction of all the players by APPT President Danny McDonagh the cards are now in the air.

Mo Over a Million

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jason Mo raised to 23,000 from under the gun and watched as the action folded back around to Celina Lin on the big blind. She made the call and both players watched the flop come down {5-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

Both players checked before the dealer produced the {3-Diamonds} on the turn. Lin bet out 25,000 and was called before deciding to check when the {j-Clubs} completed the board.

Mo reached for his chips and splashed out 28,000 which was enough to take down the pot. Mo now has 1,049,000 in chips.

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Daniel Kneafsey
Daniel Kneafsey

Short stacked player Daniel Kneafsey just moved all in for 139,000 and the action folded around to Team PokerStars Pro Celina Lin. Lin made the call and the other players folded.

Kneafsey: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Lin: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The flop brought {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and immediately Kneafsey took over the lead in this hand. Lin still had outs, but the turn, the {5-Diamonds}, nor the river, the {7-Hearts} were among those.

Jennens Takes From Demicki

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded around to Daniel Demicki on the button who raised it up to 24,000. Tyler Jennens made the call from the big blind and both players then watched the flop come down {5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Jennens checked his option and watched as Demicki slid out 26,000 in chips. Jennens then reached for his stack and cut out a raise to 65,000 before placing it in the middle. Demicki made the call shortly after before the dealer turned over the {4-Hearts} on the turn.

Jennens instantly bet out 85,000 which was to much for Demicki who tossed his cards into the muck.

One Daniel Leads While the Other Struggles

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Chip leader Daniel Demicki raised to 28,000 under the gun plus one and Daniel Kneafsey defended his big blind.

The flop came down {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Spades} and both players checked. The turn brought the {Q-Clubs} and this time Kneafsey check-called 30,000.

On the river the {8-Diamonds} hit and Kneafsey checked again. Demicki bet 53,000 and Kneafsey snap-called.

Demicki showed {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a full house and Kneafsey quietly mucked his cards.

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante
Takuya Suzuki
Takuya Suzuki

The action started with Jason Mo raising to 28,000 from under the gun plus one. Takuya Suzuki was seated to his left and moved all in for around 340,000 in chips. Suzuki then watched as the table folded back around Mo who instantly made the call.

Mo: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Suzuki: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Suzuki was in trouble against the monster pair and would find no help as the board ran out {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} to see Mo’s hand improve to trip kings on the flop.
