Bezzant Exit’s Early

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

We arrived at the table to spot New Zealand’s Haydn Bezzant raise to 450 from the hijack and find a call from the players in the cut off and big blind.

The flop came down {5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts} and the action checked to Bezzant who threw out a continuation bet totalling 600. The player in the cut off folded his hand and the big blind called.

After the {4-Clubs} fell on the turn, Bezzant was check called once again for a bet worth 1,200 before the {7-Clubs} completed the board.

This time the player in the big blind led out for 2,500 only to have Bezzant come back over the top with a bet worth 6,000. He was called shortly after but mucked his hand dropping down to just 1,725 in chips.

In the following hand the player under the gun opened to 450 before the player to his right raised to 1,500. Bezzant then moved all in for his remaining chips and both original raises called.

The action was checked down to the river on a {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} board before the player under the gun plus one threw out 3,000 in chips. The bet was enough to get his opponent out of the hand, and once he showed his {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for a full house, Bezzant was sent to the rail.
