Nguyen Crushing

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

On a flop of {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} Toan Nguyen checked his option from the big blind as did Kitty Kuo from under the gun. The action fell on the player in middle position who bet out 2,400 and was called by another player in the cut off. With the decision back on Nguyen he raised it up to 7,800. Kuo and the original raiser got out of the way before the player in the cut off made the call.

The {10-Spades} fell on the turn and Nguyen thought about his decision for a minute before sliding out 12,600. It didn't take long for his opponent to muck his hand leaving him to rake in another larger pot.

Nguyen has moved up to 75,000 in chips following the hand.

Easy Going

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Either the big hands are shying away from the cameras, or they are just not happening right now. The pace of the tournament seems to be quite slow in the sixth level of the day, and there are two more left to be played after the upcoming break.

Another Big Pot For Nguyen

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

It's really shaping up the be a huge day for Toan Nguyen who just busted another player. We just picked up the action on the flop that showed {4-Spades}{8-Clubs}{A-Spades} when Chin Kampanatsanyakorn checked to Nguyen who bet 3,400.

There was a third player in the pot and he made the call after which Kampanatsanyakorn moved all in for 15,125. Nguyen paused for about 30 seconds before calling and the third player folded his cards.

Kampanatsanyakorn: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Nguyen: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The river was the {Q-Diamonds} and Kampanatsanyakorn got knocked out while Nguyen extended his chip lead.

McKenzie Takes It Down

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

We arrived at the table to witness Jesse McKenzie going up against Kitty Kuo in a hand.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{j-Spades} and McKenzie checked his option. Kuo reached for her chips and bet out 3,200 which was called.

Both players checked their options on the {10-Diamonds} before the {k-Hearts} completed the board. McKenzie paused for a moment before sliding out 7,400. The bet sent Kuo into the tank for several minutes before she finally let go of her hand.

With that pot McKenzie moves up to 40,000 in chips. Kuo drops down to 25,000 in chips.

Double Up For Zhu

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

We just caught the end of a big double up for Yaxi Zhu, after unknown action.

The board showed {Q-Hearts}{K-Spades}{4-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{3-Clubs} when Zhu had {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} out in front of her and her opponents' {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} was mucked.

Zhu now sits on 50,000 chips and looks really good heading into the final two levels of the day.

Yaxi Zhu raised before the flop and got two callers, and the flop brought out {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}. After the player in the blinds checked Zhu bet 2,000 and Yang Zhang called in position.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and both players checked this time around. On the river the {A-Hearts} hit and Zhu bet out 3,000. Zhang gave it some thought but eventually he moved all in for 10,100.

Zhu snap-called and tabled {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, but that was not enough as Zhang's boat was bigger with {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}.
