The Main Event was scheduled to play 12 levels today, but due to the big turnout in the High Roller event play will be cut short. We are currently in the 9th level of play, and there will be just one more level after this one.
The High Roller currently has 36 players seated and six players on the alternate list with entries and re-entries possible for the rest of the day. The High Roller is currently in the second level, played started with 20,000 chips and the blinds are 50/100. The Main Event tables will make place for the High Roller, as the poker room at the Walker Hill casino is absolutely jam packed with both tournament and cash game action.
The High Roller has a buy in of 6 million KRW (US $5,485) and players are allowed to do one re-entry. Late registration closes before the start of Day 2, and players opting to do so will start with 25 big blinds.
