Viviam Im's Kings Get Cracked

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Vivian Im
Vivian Im

In the very last hand of the level, Vivian Im three-bet to 62,000 after having previously three-bet shoved and enforced a fold just minutes ago. Mital Chandihok four-bet shoved for around 400,000 with the bigger stack, but the Team PokerStars Pro snap-called for what looked like 300,000 with the {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

Chandihok was in bad shape with the {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} but found some options on the {3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop. He was asking for an eight before the dealer burned and turned the {4-Diamonds}. A cruel {5-Clubs} river gave Chandihok a straight and Im the 28th place.

Kim Out; Break Ensues

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Dong Il Kim
Dong Il Kim

Frederick Hernandez and Dong Il Kim got their short stacks all in preflop with Hernandez on {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Kim at risk holding {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

The {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} run out gave Hernandez a set and sent the start-of-day chip leader to the rail as Level 19 came to a close.

With that, the 28 players remaining are off on a 10-minute break and will return to play one more level before bagging up for the night.

Bang Huang with a Small Pot

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Wai Lun Ng called a raise by Fubo Fu Bang Huang for 24,000 while sitting on the button and also called a continuation bet worth 25,000 on the {2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop. Both players then checked down the {3-Clubs} turn and {9-Clubs} river, the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} of Bang Huang won the pot.

Talk To Me

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jose Drilon opened the action with a standard raise and Frederick Hernandez moved all in for another 98,000 more on the button. Drilon asked "you want call?" and then waved frantically to get any reaction while Hernandez just started at the board. There was no call and Hernandez showed the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}.

Leonarez Brings Fan Back to Earth

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jessie Leonarez made it 22,000, Terry Fan three-bet to 61,000 and Leonarez shoved for 187,000 total.

Fan snapped him off with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and had Leonarez' {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades} dominated. However, Leonarez made a pair on the {7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} run out to flip the script and double through him.

Noda Has Nada

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded all the way around to Hayato Kitajima and he open-shoved from the small blind. Hiroyuki Noda called with pretty much the same short stack and flipped over {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Kitajima's {Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} had two over cards and got there by runner runner straight on a board of {6-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Kim Cracks Aces for the Double

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Mike Kim bet 40,000 on a {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} board and Takuya Yamashita raised it up to 112,000.

He took his time about it, but Kim eventually shipped it in for a lot more. Yamashita made the call with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}, but was behind Kim's {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} set. The river came the {7-Clubs} locking up the double for Kim.

And Then There Were 30

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Aron Dermer got his remaining stack in with the {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades} against Winfred Yu's {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and despite the two over cards and a flush draw on the turn, he could not catch anything anymore on a board of {2-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Pretty much at the same time, Chen-an Lin also bowed out to reduce the field to the last 30 hopefuls.

Dermer Left With Little Chips

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

After a preflop all in situation, both Aron Dermer and Ying Lin Chua were all in from the cutoff respectively the small blind while big stack Terry Fan had gotten out of the way. Fan got a big stack by eliminating Manuel Blaschke after the Austrian led on the river of a flush heavy board and called the shove of Fan only to run straight into the nuts.

Fast forward into the present, Dermer had the {A-Spades}{J-Spades} and Chua the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and the king kicker won the pot to leave Dermer very short. Chua doubled for 215,000.
