Liang Song Dominates 2019 PokerStars APPT National for ₩57,365,000 (~$49,600)

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Liang Song
Liang Song

The 2019 PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Jeju National event is over and Liang Song is the player who managed to collect all the event's chips in front of him. He had a dominant performance during Day 2, which he showed by entering the final table with a commanding chip lead, and ended heads-up in just one hand!

This was the second biggest cash in Liang Song's career, with a very small difference from the first one. And the amazing thing is that they both came here, in Jeju! In December 2018 Song came 4th in Event #16 of that year's Red Dragon event. He won $51,596, and this time he might won less than this, but at least he took home the winner's trophy, which is what counts more in poker.

The 177-strong APPT National field has been whittled down to the final nine players. All nine finalists are guaranteed a payday of at least KRW 5,795,000, but it is the KRW 57,365,000 (~$49,500) top prize that all will be gunning for.

Tae Hoon Han
Tae Hoon Han

Tae Hoon Han was just spotted in the field, and he is the guy to look for when searching good results in South Korea. He has a total number of 23 cashes in his poker career and 17 of them happened in South Korea.

He has great history especially in Jeju too, where he came third in Red Dragon Main Event in December 2018. This was his biggest cash so far, as he earned $92,391. Except that, he has a win in a Main Event in South Korea too, defeating all of his opponents in the 2017 PokerStars Festival Incheon, for $73,954, his second largest career cash.

Today he is off to a slow start, having 26,000 in chips, but you should never let your stack feel safe with him on your table.
