Jiaqi Chen lost a flip with {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} against the {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} of Kazuhiko Yotsushika on a board of {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to become the first casualty in the money.

He was followed right away by Randy Lew, Jiayi Jin and Yunchao Li to reduce the field within two minutes from 27 to the last 23 hopefuls. The redraw of the final three tables will be posted shortly.

Lew Doubles; Chen and Zhou Bust to Let the Bubble Burst

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Huijie Zhou

Randy Lew jammed the button with the {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Wayne Heung called in the big blind with {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. The board came {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Lew doubled with a full house.

One hand later the madness started with three all in and call on three different tables.

Kazuhiko Yotsushika battled with Keiji Takahashi and jammed the river of a board {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Takahashi had called the three barrels and Yotsushika shook his head, turned over {7-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a bluff. Takahashi had {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and doubled.

Dong Chen jammed for 65,000 with {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} and was called by Yusuke Kotake in the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. The board came {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Chen was first to go.

Over on table one, Yan Li had open-jammed her big stack and Huijie Zhou had called.

Huijie Zhu: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Yan Li: {q-Spades}{8-Spades}

The board came {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Li rivered a straight to let the bubble burst.

Yuan Doubles Through Lew

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Yilu Yuan Doubles on the Bubble
Yilu Yuan Doubles on the Bubble

Yilu Yuan bubbled the APPT Korea Main Event just one day ago and he almost suffered the same fate just now when he called the small blind shove of Randy Lew for the last 106,000.

Yilu Yuan: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Randy Lew: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}

Lew improved on the {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, but the {a-Spades} turn and {5-Diamonds} river kept Yuan in the tournament, sending Lew on a short stack.

Another Pot for Takagi

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action has become even slower and Kensaku Takagi has claimed another pot. On a flop of {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Hisashi Yamanouchi in the big blind and Takagi on the button both invested 75,000 to see the {4-Diamonds} turn, which went check, check. On the {7-Diamonds} river, Yamanouchi checked and folded to a bet of 100,000.

Takagi Gets Value From Heung

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

After defending his big blind against an under-the-gun raise by Wayne Heung, Kensaku Takagi bet the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs} river for 50,000 into a pot of 200,000. Heung reluctantly called and mucked when Takagi rolled over {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for top two pair.
