Ken Okada
Ken Okada

The stone-cold money bubble has been reached as Ken Okada has vanished from table nine. Randy Lew, who final-tabled this event one year ago, suddenly sits behind a massive stack despite having dropped to 22,000 earlier in the day.

According to Lew, Okada went broke preflop with {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} against his {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for around 150,000 and found no help to bow out just shy of the money.

Ahn Chips Up on the Bubble

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The action on table three remained high and another big pot emerged just after the double. On the {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} turn, Xiaosheng Zheng checked in early position and reluctantly called a bet of 60,000 by Eric Ahn on the button. Both players opted to check the {10-Spades} on the river and Zheng mucked {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a busted flush and straight draw.

Ahn had turned a full house with {7-Spades}{6-Spades} and claimed a big pot. The money bubble continues with no end in sight just yet.
