Early Double for Puchalski
Level 4
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Following an open raise to 800, four players called and that led them to the 9♣8♥4♦ flop on which it checked to the initial raiser. A continuation bet of 1,200 followed and Dezhong Li then raised to 5,300. Alexander Puchalski in the small blind check-raised to 10,300 to force out all other players except for Li, who pushed all-in and was quickly called by Puchalski.
Alexander Puchalski: 8♠8♦
Dezhong Li: J♥10♣
Middle set versus the open-ended straight draw had Puchalski ahead, and that remained to be the case throughout the 10♠ turn and A♣ river. Puchalski doubled for 30,800 and Li was left with around 2,000 but already bolted out of the tournament area.
