Pham's Move Comes At the Wrong Time

Denis Pham raised in the hijack for Curtis Lim to call, which led them to the 8♦4♥3♥ flop. Pham bet and earned a call to then fire a second barrel for 55,000 on the 5♣ turn. Lim declared all-in and Pham replied but it had to be clarified three times whether or not that was call or fold.

The call was then confirmed and the cards were revealed.

The 6♥ on the river failed to keep Pham in contention and he had to settle for 44th place.

Junnie Pamplona had min-raised and then called a hefty three-bet to 60,000 by Roman Kolotiuk out of the big blind. Kolotiuk bet 150,000 on the A♦9♥7♦ flop and sigh-called the shove by Pamplona for 232,000.

Kolotiuk gained some further outs on the 5♠ turn but bricked the K♣ river.

Shortly after, Kolotiuk was all-in with the K♥10♣ against Ashish Munot with the K♣Q♦. The A♣9♥2♣K♠8♥ board provided no help and Kolotiuk hit the rail.

On a completed board of J♦J♥6♥K♦8♦, Alexander Puchalski was all-in for 50,000 and Jimmy Torres snap-called. Puchalski tabled the Q♠J♠ for trips jacks but was beaten by the K♥K♣ for kings full by Torres.

According to Bo Jin and Torres, the flop was checked before 40,000 chips went in after the turn. That being said, Torres further increased his big stack while Puchalski's title defence has come to an end.

Yannick Jobin dragged in the chips of Mohit Bohra to jump above the average. All cards were still exposed and Jobin provided the action. According to the Swiss, his raise was called by Bohra from one seat over and the big blind.

On the 8♦7♦4♥ flop, Jobin continued for Bohra to raise and Jobin then jammed to see Bohra call it off.

The 5♣ turn and K♠ river ended Bohra's run on the second payout step.

Guillem Segarra Lopez raised to 11,000 and then folded to the all-in moves by Grant Gardner for 101,000 and Lester Edoc for 55,000. "You are ahead, because we both have the same hand," Edoc told Segarra Lopez when the Spaniard mucked the 9♥9♠ face-up.

The J♠7♣5♣8♥6♦ river would have given the Spaniard a triple-up.

One hand later, Segarra Lopez jammed for 53,000 first to act and Ilia Miakishev rejammed in the small blind.

Tianyuan Tang also busted one table over as the field dropped to 74 hopefuls with 71 in the money.

"Again?" Foster grinned as Chang had just doubled not long ago with aces. The 2♦ river was brought no upset and Chang doubled.

Selim Souissi bubbled a Side Event on the feature stage last night and also missed out on the money in the Main Event as well.

Down to around 13 blinds, he got it in with the 10♣10♠ only for Seunghun Ko to look him up with the A♠A♥.

The J♠9♥2♦6♣4♣ board provided no help for the Japan resident and Souissi left the tournament area.
