Wu Doubles Mariano; Doubles Through Sasahara
Level 29
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Archie Mariano defended his big blind against a button raise by Yuanning Wu and check-called all-in on the 10♥9♥7♣ flop for 1,110,000 when Wu jammed.
Archie Mariano: Q♦J♦
Yuanning Wu: Q♣8♥
The local rail celebrated when Mariano improved to the nuts on the K♥ turn and Wu was drawing to a chop only, which never happened on the 9♠ river.
One hand later, Riku Sasahara raised to 200,000 first to act and called Wu's cutoff shove for 1,495,000.
Yuanning Wu: Q♦Q♣
Riku Sasahara: 7♠7♣
The A♣Q♥4♦6♣6♥ board secured the double for Wu.
