Thomas Ward Eliminated in 8th Place (PHP1,301,000)
Level 30
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Nino Pansier made it 240,000 to go from under the gun and Thomas Ward pushed all-in for around 630,000 out of the small blind. The call by Pansier followed and the cards were revealed.
Thomas Ward: A♣7♣
Nino Pansier: J♠9♠
Ward was ahead but that all changed on the Q♠9♥9♦ flop as Pansier made trips. It was all over on the 2♠ turn and the 3♥ river ended Ward's run in eighth place.
