Mike Watson
Mike Watson

Action folded to Mike Watson in the small blind, and he raised all in for his last 70,000 or so. Alan Sass looked down at the {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and quickly made the call. Watson was all in with the {J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

The flop gave Sass top set wtih the {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} falling. Watson was now looking for a ten to complete a straight draw, but couldn't find it when the {K-Diamonds} and {9-Hearts} fell on the turn and river.

Watson was eliminated in 12th place for HKD$303,000, and Sass climbed to over 400,000 in chips.

Tri Huynh Eliminated in 11th Place (HKD$303,000)

Tri Huynh
Tri Huynh

Action folded over to Tri Huynh in the small blind, and he put in a raise to 20,000. In the big blind was Xing Zhou, and he called to see the {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop come down. Huynh bet 45,000, and Zhou raised all in. With about 130,000 behind, Huynh quickly called.

Huynh tabled the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for an overpair of queens. Unfortunately, Zhou out-flopped him with the {5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for two pair.

The turn was the {10-Spades}, and the river was the {J-Clubs}. Huynh's queens went down in a blaze, and he was sent to the payout desk to collect his 11th-place money.

Sass's Bluff Fails, Toma Jumps Up

In a blind battle between Alan Sass and Tsugunari Toma the board read {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} when the former moved all in. Tsugunari snap-called and Sass reluctantly turned over his {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Tsugunari showed {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and slammed his cards on the table. Sass lost this huge pot and is now one of the short stacks.

Zaicik Doubles Through Wang

From the hijack seat, Henry Wang raised to 20,000. Jacques Zaicik reraised all in for 130,000 in the cutoff seat, and Wang called.

Wang tabled the {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Zaicik the {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, making this a race with Zaicik's tournament life on the line.

The flop kept Zaicik in front when the {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} fell. The turn paired the board with the {10-Hearts}, and now Wang needed a king, jack, six or five to win the pot and eliminate Zaicik.

The river completed the board with the {2-Hearts}, and Zaicik successfully faded all that he needed to in order to double up.
