Gary Benson Eliminated

Gary Benson
Gary Benson
Australian Gary Benson raises to 2100 in late position and is called by Rodger Sbets from the button. The flop comes {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Gary checks. Sbets bets 5000 and Gary moves all in for 14,000. Sbets makes the call and opens {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Gary is in trouble and opens {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

The turn {5-Clubs} and river {8-Clubs} don't help him and Gary Benson is eliminated.

Saab and Potter Clash

David Saab raises to 2000 and is reraised by James Potter to 5500.

They see a flop of {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

Saab checks and Potter bets 7000. Saab moves all-in and easily has Potter covered. Potter goes into the tank, analyzing Saab, and reluctantly folds {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} face up. Always one to have the last word, Saab says, "Good fold....you were in front pre-flop."

Hachem Eliminated

2005 WSOP champion - Joe Hachem
2005 WSOP champion - Joe Hachem
From early position Joe Hachem raised to 1700 and was called by Thailand's Mortin Kaspersen and one other player from late position.

The players see a flop of {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and all check.

Turn {2-Hearts}
Hachem leads out for 3000 and Kaspersen raises to 9000. The late-position player folds and Hachem looks to the table and says "Am I going to go broke on this hand because it doesn't make sense."

Hachem goes into the tank but then announces "all-in". Kaspersen instantly calls and opens {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Hachem is drawing dead with his {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. The irrelevant river of {K-Hearts} is dealt and we lose Team PokerStars member and 2005 WSOP champion Joe Hachem.

Four-Way All-In

In a four way all-in preflop pot, Japan's Kazuhiro Sato took his {J-Spades}{10-Clubs} up against {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}, {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, and {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}.

With a final board of {J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} Sato hit a very helpful Jack on the river to keep him in the running. Sato now has 30,000 in chips.

Jae Jung Busted

A disappointed Jae Jung from Korea has just been eliminated when he got it all in on the turn with a board of {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

Jung had {9-Hearts}{J-Hearts} but was up against {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. No change on the river and we lose Jae Jung. Jung walked away from the table muttering to his friends that he should have bet the flop.
