The flop came down giving Rogers a set of tens but also giving McKenzie a flush draw. The turn brought the sending McKenzie into the lead. Rogers would need a repeat card on the river and that’s exactly what he received. The completed the board giving Rogers a full house and guaranteeing him the much needed double up.

Sam Williams has recently shoved all in preflop two times.
The first saw him three-bet all in for around 130,000 from the small blind after Minh Nguyen had opened the button.
Nguyen folded and some chips went to Williams.
The next hand, Williams did the same thing, this time from the button after Nguyen had opened to 35,000 from under the gun plus one.
Another fold from Nguyen and a few more chips went to Williams.
Thomas Ward and Minh Nguyen have just battled in two hands.
The first began with Ward opening to 24,000 from the cut off. Nguyen called from the big blind and the dealer flipped over a flop. Nguyen check-called a bet of 26,000 here and then both players checked the turn.
On the river, Nguyen led for 90,000 and Ward folded.
The next hand these two played saw Nguyen open to 24,000 from under the gun. Ward was the lone caller from the button and with that, a flop was dealt on the felt.
Both players checked here and then on the turn, Nguyen led for 36,000. Ward called and the river was dealt. This time Nguyen led for a large 175,000 and Ward quickly folded.
Minh Nguyen opened to 30,000 from the cut off and was called by Sam Williams on the button,
The flop came down and Nguyen threw out a continuation bet of 37,000. Williams made the call as the fell on the turn. Both players then checked as the completed the board.
After a minute of deciding what to do, Nguyen opted to move all in covering Williams. A short time later and Williams mucked his hand, relinquishing the pot to Nguyen.

This time it was Sam Williams who hit the rail and his final hand began with him in the big blind and with Nguyen raising the small blind to 25,000. Williams called and the dealer turned over a flop. Nguyen led for 31,000 here and Williams called.
On the turn, Nguyen moved all in, with Williams having 200,000 behind.
Williams just nodded his head and said call.
Nguyen tabled for the turned straight, while Williams had for two pair.
The board completed with a and Williams was on the rail in fifth place, taking home NZ$31,500.
