The hand started with Christian Haggart opening to 70,000 from under the gun. Thomas Mcgarrity made the call from the big blind and both watched the flop come down .
Mcgarrity checked over to Haggart who slid out a continuation bet of 75,000. Mcgarrity then moved all in for 470,000 in chips putting the pressure back on Haggart. He sat forward in his chair, confused by the way the hand had played out.
He eventually made the call and both players tabled their cards.

Mcgarrity was in front with his top pair against Haggarts bottom pair. The board ran out the and to improve Mcgarrity's hand to a flush, securing him the pot.
In the final hand before the break, the action folded around to Yat Wai Cheng in the small blind who bet out 65,000. Carlos Kuo Chang was on the big blind, and raised it up to 146,000. Cheng made the call and both watched as the flop came down .

Soo Jo Kim opened to 48,000 from under the gun and was called by Jean Marie Peyron on the button and Andre Cyril in the blinds.
The flop came down and all three players check. When the fell on the turn, Cyril bet out 77,000 forcing a fold from Kim. Peyron then bumped it up to 160,000 and was called.
The completed the board and both players checked. Peyron tabled his for a turned set, but was not good enough against Cyril who had for a winning flush.
Christian Haggart opened to 60,000 from the hijack before Feng Wen Chen moved all in for 374,000 from the small blind. With the decision back on Haggart, he asked for a count before announcing a call.

Haisheng Ma opened with a raise to 50,000 before John Hoang moved all in from the cutoff. Before his stack could be cut down, play had passed to Soo Jo Kim in the small blind who also announced all in as the rail murmured with excitement. Back on Ma and he open folded pocket tens which proved to be a wise decision.

Hoang would need some help and the flop of brought a sweat as Hoang flopped a flush draw. The turn brought even more outs for Hoang but the river was the to leave Hoang to depart in 15th place for HK$100,000 in prize money.
