Terry Fan, the Number 2 on the Taiwanese all-time money list with $461,437 in live tournament earnings, came to play in Seoul as well.

Fan won the biggest ever Macau Poker Cup Red Dragon event back in April 2013 beating a field of 891 to claim the $228,121 first-place prize and he's looking to add some more to it here this week.

Early Day for Lee

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Edmund Lee
Edmund Lee

A regular on the Asian Pacific Poker Tour, Edmund Lee had a very short day today when he went all in with his {a-}{7-} preflop and ran into the {a-}{q-} of Mandeep Narang. Even though the flop gave Lee hope when a seven showed up, an ace on the turn gave the lead back to Narang. The river blanked and Lee hit the rail sooner than he would have liked.

Lee, saw results in the Aussie Millions earlier this year placing 7th, 8th and 15th in three of the side events. We expect to see him around the poker room as there are still side events and action-packed cash games in full-swing. You can find the complete tournament schedule on the APPT website.

Up to 128

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

The board currently shows 128 registered players in today's Day 1b flight, which brings up the total for this tournament to 246. Last years there were 222 players in this event and that means we're seeing a nice growth.

Late registration is still open for another two hours and 40 minutes, but breaking the APPT Seoul record of 268 players from back in 2012 is likely to be out of reach.

Ang Lin in a cash game yesterday
Ang Lin in a cash game yesterday

Yesterday we caught Ang Lin playing in one of the juicy cashgames here at the Paradise Casino Walkerhill and today he's trying his luck in the Main Event.

In order for Lin to create a similar massive stack today he will have to do some real work, but we're already looking forward to see what he has in store.

ANZPT and APT Champion Paul Hockin Joins The Fun

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

"King Paulie they call him," the PokerStars Blogger on the media desk said, when we pulled up Paul Hockin's Hendon Mob profile. Hockin, a New Zealand native, has only four live tournament results to date but two of those are victories in big events.

Hockin won the 2012 ANZPT Melbourne event for A$101,275 after beating a final table with the likes of Michael Guzzardi and Ashley Warner and just two months ago he took down the APT Cebu event for $71,842.

Hockin, who's predominantly an online player with $1.3 million in tournament cashes, will be one of the players to look out for today as he's one of the more experienced players in the field.

Lin Survives

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Right before break, we came up on the action with a bet of 2,500 in front of Moon Soo Kim and a flop of {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades} on the board. Hung Sheng "Shaq" Lin raised to 5,000. After a bit of thought, Kim made it 9,500 which prompted the all in of Lin. Some more thinking followed, along with a call of Kim who had Lin slightly covered.

Lin: {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Kim: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The turn {k-Diamonds} and the river {q-Hearts} came, giving Lin the double up and leaving Kim very short. Lin, the 2011 Asia Player of The Year, is looking to make a big splash here after a relatively slow start to the year, with only one tournament cash so far this year.
