There is always at least one hand in a tournament where you hear "jackpot" from across the room. Christian Haggart was the winner of today's. He was all in preflop with kings against his opponents aces.
He was excited to flop a king, since he was the player at risk but his elation soon turned to dismay when the turn came an ace. It was the river king that prompted half the room to get up from their seats to head over to see the excitement.
Instead of out, Haggart is sitting pretty as we play our final 2 1/2 levels of the day.
The APPT Seoul Main Event drew a crowd of 256 players and the majority, perhaps surprisingly, hails from Japan. The second place nation is China followed by the USA and Canada. When going down the list it's interesting to mention that there's also a player from Vietnam, Malaysia, Romania and no less than four from Mongolia.
Here's a look at all the countries and the amount of players they've provided for this event. Bear in mind that it's not legal for South Koreans to gamble in their own country, so therefor we won't see any home grown talent take this event down.
