Frank List Eliminated

Action folded around to Frank List on the button. List moved all in for his last 10,000. Dan Schreiber, playing from the big blind, made the call. The players showed:

Schreiber: {A-Spades}{4-Spades}
List: {10-Spades}{3-Spades}

The board came {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{J-Spades}{6-Spades} and Schreiber's pair of fours was best. Shreiber took down the pot and eliminated Frank List in the process.

Humberto Min Sung Kim Eliminated

Action folded to Humberto Min Sung Kim in middle position. Sung Kim moved all in for 10,000. Roger Spets made the call from the small blind. The players showed:

Sung Kim: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Spets: {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

When all was said and done, the board read {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. Spets had caught a pair of kings on the river which was good enough to win him the pot and eliminate Humberto Min Sung Kim.

Kazuhiro Sato Eliminated

Kazuhiro Sato Says Goodbye
Kazuhiro Sato Says Goodbye
Action folded to Kazuhiro Sato on the button who moved all in for 10,100. Jozef Berec called from the big blind. The players showed:

Sato: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Berec: {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Berec took over the lead on the flop as it came {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. The turn and river brought the {7-Clubs} and {10-Clubs} respectively. Kazuhiro Sato's ace-high was second best and he was eliminated.

Jason Min Eliminated

Jason Min and Seval Hægeland were heads up on a flop of {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Min made his move and went all in. He was ahead in the hand, holding {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}; Hægeland had outs however with his {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. The {10-Diamonds} peeled off on the turn and it looked like Min might survive. The {2-Clubs} on the river however, gave Hægeland the straight and sent Min towards the exit.

Action Slows Down

With the field getting smaller and smaller, players are likely becoming more aware that they're approaching the money. The rate of eliminations has slowed down and it appears as though the focus and and attention of the players has increased dramatically in the last 30 minutes.

Carl Linderson Eliminated

Action folded around to Jozef Berec in the cutoff seat who raised to 6,500. Carl Linderson, on the button, moved all in for 26,500 total. Berec made the call. The players showed:

Berec: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Linderson: {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Linderson breathed a sigh of relief when the flop came {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The relief was short lived however as the dealer laid down the {9-Spades} on the turn. The meaningless {4-Spades} hit the river and just like that Linderson was sent packing.

Isabelle Mercier Doubles Up

Isabelle Mercier Scores a Clutch Double-Up
Isabelle Mercier Scores a Clutch Double-Up
Isabelle Mercier just got a much needed boost to her stack when she picked up {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} . After a raise from Shinhan Sid Kim from early position, Mercier re-raised all in. Sid Kim made the call and turned up his {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Sid Kim flopped an inside straight draw but it never got there. Mercier's aces were best and she doubled up to just over 40,000 chips.
