Updated Chip Counts at the Break

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Here are the chip counts as the five remaining players are on a short break:

Mike Takayama Eliminated in 6th Place (PHP 512,000)

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Mike Takayama - 5th Place
Mike Takayama - 5th Place

Heads up on an {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Mike Takayama got it all in against Thanh Ha Duong.

Duong held {j-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and Takayama needed a spade or an ace to survive with {a-Spades}{9-Spades}. Unfortunately for him, none came on the {10-Diamonds} turn or {4-Diamonds} river and APPT Manila is down to five players.

Andreas Rauh Eliminated in 7th Place (PHP 405,000)

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Andreas Rauh - 7th
Andreas Rauh - 7th

Andreas Rauh got it all in with {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} against Michael Guzzardi's {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and failed to improve on a {q-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs} board to go out seventh.

Maria Bernadette Lina Eliminated in 8th Place (PHP 324,000)

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Maria Bernadette Lina - 8th Place
Maria Bernadette Lina - 8th Place

Last woman standing Maria Bernadette Lina is out.

She open shoved {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} under the gun and got looked up by chip leader Michael Guzzardi in the big blind holding {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

Lina had doubled up a number of times to survive this far, but couldn't get it done again as the dealer rolled out a {2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades} board that ended all hope.

The Two Million Dollar Man

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Michael Guzzardi is back over two million in chips after pushing Thanh Ha Duong off a big pot.

Duong made it 48,000 and Guzzardi three-bet to 120,000. Doung called and the flop came {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Guzzardi bet 100,000 and Duong called again. They both checked the {6-Clubs} turn, but when the {Q-Clubs} river came down and Guzzardi fired out 200,000, Duong let it go.

Rauh Doubles Again, Again

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Andreas Rauh just doubled through Mike Takayama getting it in with {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} against {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{j-Spades} for those keeping score at home.

Lina Times Two

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Just a few hands after getting it all in with a weak ace and chopping a pot, Maria Bernadette Lina got it all in again with {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} against Sameer Rattonsey's {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} giving Lina lost of hope. The {2-Diamonds} turn gave her a flush draw and the {9-Diamonds} river completed it, handing her a quick double.

Rajeev Kanjani Eliminated in 9th Place (PHP 242,000)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Rajeev Kanjani - 9th
Rajeev Kanjani - 9th

Rajeev Kanjani shipped it in and Daniel Giang moved all in behind for more. The rest of the table folded and it was Kanjani's {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} against Giang's {A-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop did Kanjani in as there was no ten on the {q-Diamonds} turn or {8-Clubs} river.

Angeles Doubles

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Bernardo Angeles limped the cutoff and Thanh Ha Duong pushed in from the big blind having him well covered.

Angeles made the call with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and was up against {a-Spades}{8-Spades}. He held to doubled on the ace-less {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} board.
