Another Dent For Tran

Adrien Allain limped the button, Inwook Choi folded his small blind and J.C. Tran knocked the table in the big blind.

Again the players were content to play small ball as they checked through to the river on a {9-Spades}

board. Tran checked, Allain bet 25,000 and Tran called.

Allain opened {Q-Clubs}

for a pair of sixes which were good as Tran mucked.

We saw a rare raise to almost three times the big blind. It came from small blind Adrien Allain and was called by big blind Inwook Choi. Both players checked the {J-Hearts}

flop. When the turn came {5-Hearts}

Tran Doubles through Allain

We sensed something might be up when J.C. Tran opened with a raise to 42,000, something he hasn't done much of lately. Adrien Allain re-raised to 128,000. Once Inwook Choi folded, Tran and Allain quickly got their chips in. Tran was in for 159,000 and was at risk of elimination.

Things Heating Up

Perhaps the players have now switched gears again as we just saw a very rarely sighted raise, re-raise, shove, before the flop.

Inwook Choi opened for 50,000, J.C. Tran folded before Adrien Allain raised it to 170,000 from the big blind. Choi then announced he was all in and Allain released.

Tran Sinking Again

J.C. Tran can't afford to lose too many more pots. He limped the small blind and then called a raise to 60,000 made by big blind Adrien Allain. The two players checked all the way to the river, {j-Diamonds}

. It was there that Allain took down the pot with a bet of 90,000.

Even More Chips for Allain

The pre-flop aggressor for the last hand was Inwook Choi. He opened for 50,000 and was called by big blind Adrien Allain. Allain checked a flop of {K-Diamonds}

over to Choi, then called a bet of 65,000. Both players checked the {7-Spades}

turn, prompting Allain to bet 200,000 when the river fell {8-Clubs}

. Choi quickly mucked.

Blind Battle Erupts Into War

Play folded to Adrien Allain in the small blind who raised it up to 60,000 only to be met with a re-raise to 125,000 from Inwook Choi in the big blind.

Allain sat in the tank for several minutes before making it an additional 180,000 to play. Before Matt Savage could even announce the action, Choi had moved all in and Allain instantly folded.

A nice preflop pot to Choi without showdown as he is starting to gain some momentum at this final table.
