Brutally Bad Beat Sends Waki to the Rail

Peri reacts to dragging the pot.
Peri reacts to dragging the pot.
We came to Yasuhiro Waki's table when he was already out of his chair, standing over the table. Waki had moved all in for 7,250 on a board of {8-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {8-Clubs}. There were two other players in the hand (the button and Simone Peri in the big blind) and both called. Once the dealer burned and turned the {Q-Diamonds} as the river card, Peri moved all in for 3,225 and was called by the button for a massive three-way all in!

Waki: {A-Spades} {8-Clubs}
Peri: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}
Button: {6-Diamonds} {7-Spades}

Waki had turned trip eights, but was sent crashing out of the tournament when Peri jubilantly turned over his full house. After dragging that massive pot, Peri is up to 32,000 in chips.
