Pedley Pedels Some Chips In

Pedley can't persuade Kim

With an all-in and call ahead of him, Michael Pedley called 1,600 out of the big blind and two active players saw the flop of {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}.

Pan Jun Kim led out for 2,400 and Pedley check-called before both players checked the turn of the {8-Diamonds}. The river fell the {K-Hearts} and Pedley threw out a bet of 4,500, putting Kim to a decision that sent him into the tank for several minutes.

Pedley tried as hard as possible to sneak a shove, or at least a call from Kim, but to no avail as Kim eventually passed, with Pedley tabling {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the nuts to scoop the pot and send a player to the rail.

Pedley is now sitting on a healthy 44,000 in chips and seems to enjoy the Asian Poker Tour after final tabling the 2008 Macau Main Event in 9th place.
