Not content to rest on his laurels Mel Judah is back at the felt once again. Having been crowned champion of yesterday's Omaha Hi-Lo event which finished at around 6:00am this morning, Judah is amongst the starters in today's field and looks sprightly for someone who probably had around five hours of sleep.
Another small but high quality field have taken their seats in today's Limit Hold'em event. On our first lap of the Crown Poker Room we've spotted the likes of Tony Dunst, James Obst, Annette Obrestad, Dan Shak, David Saab, Graeme Putt, Jamie Pickering, Grant Levy, Emad Tahtouh, Mitchell Carle, Michael Vartan, Sam Khouiss, David Bach, Leo Boxell, Michael Guzzardi and Andrew Demetriou.
A couple of interesting tables have emerged in today's field. At one end of the poker room we see Andrew Demetriou, Bruno Portaro, Tony Dunst, Graeme Putt and Michael Guzzardi.
Meanwhile Maya Gellar-Antonius is sitting with Dennis Huntly, Sorel Mizzi, Gary Benson, and Jamie Pickering.
Finally on the other side of the room we see a table for the old-schoolers, with Antonio Casale, Martin Comer, Graham Woodbine and David Gorr all battling with each other.
Dennis Huntly opened with a raise from under the gun and found two callers including Maya Gellar-Antonius and the player in the small blind.
They went to a flop of and the action checked to Gellar-Antonius who fired a bet from the button. Both opponents made the call.
The turn was the and again the play checked to Gellar-Antonius who bet out. Huntly was the lone caller.
The river brought the and Huntly checked to Gellar-Antonius who fired a third barrel. Huntly made the call but mucked when Gellar-Antonius tabled for top pair. Gellar-Antonius is up to 5,400 with Huntly back to 4,600.
