Tudoring Stead

Todor Kondevski and Kerry Stead were recently involved in a heads-up confrontation in which Kondevski came out on top to move to 175,000 in chips.

Stead opened the pot with a raise to 25,000 from under-the-gun and when the action reached Kondevski in the small blind, he moved all-in for a total of 80,000. Stead made the call and tabled {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}, finding himself in bad shape against Kondevski's {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs} giving Stead top pair, but Kondevski still had many outs to retake the lead, holding the queen of clubs.

As it turned out, no more clubs would hit the board, but Kondevski managed to spike a third queen on the turn to take back the lead, improving even further when the {8-Hearts} fell on the river giving him a full house.

Stead was left with 35,000 in chips after the hand.

Xen-like Read

Xen Xenofontos, (who has some pretty cool initials), has just increased his stack size to 220,000 after doubling through Ben Savage.

The two got it all in before the flop; Savage with pocket fours and Xenofontos with pocket fives.

An {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} board later and Xenofontos was stacking up his newfound chips, while Savage fell to 11,000 in the loss.

Today is Not Fry's Day

The action folded around to Brad Fry who shoved for 46,000 from the small blind with {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, only to find Xen Xenofontos calling from the big blind with {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

The board was spread {k-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Fry is the latest to be added to the money list. "Mr. X" is up to 267,000 in chips.

Luke McLean Eliminated

McLean: eliminated
McLean: eliminated
The money was all in preflop between Luke McLean and Rodney Chamma - McLean had open-shoved from the button for his last 130,000, Chamma called and we caught the action as the cards were tabled:

Chamma: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
McLean: {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The board was spread {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-?}{6-?}{8-Spades}, sending McLean to the rail and Chamma's stack up to 460,000.

Extreme Focas

Angela Focas has recently improved to 215,000 in chips after winning a coinflip against Matthew Ephraums.

The two got it all in before the flop with Focas' pocket tens up against Ephraums {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}.

The ensuing board filled out {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Focas' tens held up to win the pot.

Ephraums was left with 180,000 in chips after the hand.

Savage Eliminated

After having been crippled to 11,000 in chips, Ben Savage was able to build back up to 49,000, but the comeback train was derailed by Matthew Ephraums in ugly fashion.

Savage got it all in holding {A-Spades}{8-Hearts} against Ephraums' {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and it looked likely that the two would split the pot. Such was not the case.

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} giving Ephraums a diamond flush to send Savage to the rail.

Selbst On Song

Selbst: AOK with 370k
Selbst: AOK with 370k
Vannesa Selbst has just increased her stack to 370,000 after eliminating David Miles.

Despite having lost a pot to Wissam Boumadi in the previous hand, she managed to recuperate those chips, and then some, when she picked up {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} and got paid off by Miles' {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

She improved to a set on the flop of {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Spades} and sealed the deal when the turn and river ran out {6-Diamonds},{7-Clubs}.

ToothPick Doubles; Chuck Still Confident

Chuck Danielsson
Chuck Danielsson
On a {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Spades} board Antonis "Toothpick Tony" Kambouroglou bet out for an unseen number and Chuck Danielsson moved Kambouroglou all in. Kambouroglou called with the stone cold nuts ({q-Spades}{10-Spades}) with a flush draw as well. Danielsson proudly flipped up the {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and would need a queen for a chop.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Kambouroglou hit his unnecessary flush and is now up to 265,000.

Danielsson on the other hand slipped to about 180,000 but wanted to make sure his fans at home know "he is feeling confident, and foresees a rebound."
