After some heavy action preflop, Lui and Marchese were the only two out of four players involved that ended up with their money in the middle.

The board was spread ; amazingly, Lui had managed to score a backdoor flush against Marchese's top set - and it would have been even more beneficial had the other two players who folded preflop been involved.
One claimed to have folded pocket fours while the other had apparently folded pocket sixes! Could you imagine - set over set over set beaten by a backdoor flush?
In any case, it was still very profitable for Lui, who is now on 68,000 in chips. Marchese was left with nought.

Needing to dodge the case jack, four or ace, the river was a harmless and Huntly doubled up to around 35,000 in chips.

Birman fell further behind on the flop of but the spiked on the turn, which held up after the blanked out on the river to see him double up.
