Peter Pratis Hits the Rail

Peter Pratis moved all in for his remaining 1,700 and was called by an unknown opponent.

Pratis tabled {10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and his opponent showed {5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}.

Pratis doubled up when he rivered two pair on a {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades} board.

It wasn't long after that, that Peter Pratis hit the rail when his {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} couldn't hold up against Chad Wiedenhoeft's {a-Spades}{2-Spades}.

Wiedenhoeft is up to about 60,000 now.

Pedley Doubles

Jeff Lisandro opened with a raise to 500, before Michael Pedley moved all in from middle position for his last 2,400. A player in the cutoff position made the call as Lisandro got out of the way.

Pedley: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Opponent: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Pedley doubled up to around 5,500 chips.

Waggoner Busts One

On a flop of {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} Marsha Waggoner check-called a bet of 2,000 from her opponent.

The turn brought the {4-Hearts} and Waggoner check-called her opponent's all-in bet.

The river was no help for her opponent as Waggoner had turned a flush with {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

Lisandro Chip Peddling

Jeffrey Lisandro has just sent Michael Pedley to the rail, improving to 39,100 in chips in the process.

Lisandro opened the pot with a raise to 700 from under-the-gun and Pedley, next to act, moved all in for his last 4,000. Lisandro made the call and tabled a pocket pair of tens; Pedley turned over {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

The ensuing board filled out {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Lisandro's tens held up to claim the pot.

Stern Loses To Queen-High

Dani Stern raised it up to 625 from early position and found one caller in the small blind - a player who Stern has had many verbal confrontations with throughout the day.

The flop landed {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and both players checked. The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and action checked to Stern who tossed out 750. His opponent thought for a moment or two before throwing out calling chips.

The river was the {a-Spades} and the small blind checked to Stern who reluctantly gave up and checked behind.

Stern showed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for straight and flush draws that failed to hit, to leave him with just ten-high. His opponent was slow to turn over his own cards, and for a moment we thought that ten-high might be good, but his opponent then showed a creative {Q-Spades}{4-Hearts} for just queen-high which was good enough to take it down.

"Make sure you get that one down..." sighed Stern to our reporter, but he's still in good shape with around 45,000 chips.
