Australia Heads-Up Championship Day 2 Begins Soon
Welcome to the Day 2 coverage of Event #13 at the 2011 Aussie Millions, the $10,500 Australia Heads-Up Championship. Today's action was supposed to have been held Thursday, but with the Main Event, and $250,000 Super High Roller action, it was pushed back.
On Day 1, 16 players entered, including Annette Obrestad, Jonathan Karamalikis, Nikolay Evdakov, Daniel Cates, David Steicke, and Daniel Alaei. After plenty of action though, it was Barry Woods and Dan Smith who were the last two remaining.
The event doubled in buy-in from a $5,300 buy-in in previous years, to the $10,500 that is required to take a seat this year.
We're not sure how many players have entered so far, but the action will get under way at 2:15 p.m. local time here and we'll be sure to bring you all the updates.
