Qiang Falls, Trickett Soaring

Level 1 : 500/500, 0 ante

On a flop of {9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} we found Sam Trickett checking out of the blinds to his opponent Wang Qiang.

Qiang slid out a bet of 18,000 only to have Trickett check-raise all in. Qiang used the majority of his time bank before making the call for his tournament life.

Qiang: {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Trickett: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

With play barely twenty-minutes old, having an all in not only amazed the players, but everyone in Studio 3 watching along.

With Qiang's two-overs and straight draw needing to spike against Trickett's top two-pair, the {7-Hearts} on the turn would reduced Qiang's outs to just six.

Unfortunately for the Chinese high-stakes player, the river landed the {A-Hearts} to improve Trickett's holding to a flush as he moved to a powering 245,000 as Qiang was forced to make an early exit from today's tournament.
