Event #9: Aussie Millions Main Event
Day 1c Started
Welcome back to the Crown Poker Room for the final flight of the 2011 Aussie Millions Main Event!
So far 447 players have taken to the felt over the previous two days, and if Crown hope to better last years figure of 746, then a bumper field will have to take to the felt today.
With roughly 160 players already surviving for a day two berth already, everyone will be working hard to make sure they can do the same as notable players such as Full Tilt Poker Red Pro's Van Marcus, Peter Jetten and Matthew Jarvis, alongside Australian sporting legends Shane Warne and Jeff Fenech.
Today however - in comparison to flight one - isn't expected to be pro-heavy, but instead littered with local tournament regulars and many satellite qualifiers. Throw in those online stars that took yesterday off to grind online, and the chance of seeing 300 players take a seat in today's flight is a possibility - but a tough one.
The PokerNews Live Reporting team will be back on the floor of the Crown Poker Ropom providing continuous live updates all day, so make sure to stay tuned to PokerNews.com from 12:30 pm EST for Day 1c of the Aussie Millions Main Event.

There is already one player down in today's flight.
Having all the chips in the middle preflop, it was no surprise to see the of one player, and the of another.
The aces held to leave the player holding kings with just 1,000 left.
Several hands later he would commit with but run into an opponent's to be bumped from the tournament.
Winfred Yu has just copped a penalty for being on his phone.
With the Tournament Director announcing numerous times about Crown's rule of no phones allowed at the table, I guess some people just never learn!
Once again, there are a few players in the field who qualified for the 2011 Aussie Millions Main Event online at Full Tilt Poker. Those players are Tirza Sanders, Shane Uttley, Scott Stanko, Alek Givotovsky, Wee Yee Tan and Amichai Barer.
There's also a lesser known Red Pro in the field who you may not recognize by face or name. That's Cyril Andre and he's seated at the same table as fellow Red Pro Mark Vos.
With the board reading , Michael Chrisanthopoulos check-called a bet of 850 from out of the small blind to see the pot sit at around 3,100.
When the river of the completed the board, Chrisanthopoulos checked before his opponent tossed in a bet of 5,100.
Chrisanthopoulos deliberated for nearly two minutes before making the call showing his .
His opponent however tabled his to collect the pot and send Chrisanthopoulos down to 11,700 in chips.
