Table Is Buzzing

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The table chatter is much more lively in this second heat. It's all being driven by Billy "The Croc" Argyros, who is just yapping away at the table. So into the conversation he is, that he keeps forgetting to show his cards to the hole-card cameras. The dealer keeps letting him know to show them, and they he said "If they stopped giving me alcohol, I'd remember."

Benyamine's Nearing Busto

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Patrik Antonius came out of his shell by bumping the action up to 2,000. David Benyamine, to his direct left three-bet to 6,800 before Antonius moved all in for 18,500 more. Benyamine thought for a few moments, counted down his stack and made the call.

Antonius flipped over {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, and Benyamine {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. The door card was the {j-Clubs}, putting PA in the lead with a pair, which would not only hold, but turn into a straight with the rest of the board peeling out {3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Antonius is now over 40,000 while, David Benyamine is living on the edge.

Battle of the Aussies

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

From the button, Jonathan Karamalikis made it 2,400. Billy Argyros made the call from the small blind and Nikolay Evdakov folded the big blind. Argyros checked in the dark, and the flop came down {3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Karamalikis bet 4,500 and Argyros made the call.

The turn brought the {a-Spades} and Argyros checked to Karamalikis who thought for a moment before betting. We're not sure what the bet was, because just like a crocodile is fast at attacking, this Croc shoved all of his chips in the middle. Karamalikis folded and the Croc raked in the pot.

Benyamine Moving on Out

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Nikolay Evdakov raised it up, and Patrik Antonius three-bet to 4,700, the exact amount David Benyamine had left. Action came back to Evdakov and while he thought, Billy "The Croc" Argyros said "if he calls this, I'll piss in my hat!" Evdakov, did in fact fold and Croc exclaimed " Shit, my hat's safe!"

Antonius opened up with {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, and Benyamine with {5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The board was no help to Benyamine coming {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{a-Clubs}. Croc, not at a loss for words tonight said "you like that flop, huh Patrik!"

Benyamine has been eliminated, and Patrik holds the heat chip lead.

Feldman Doubles

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Andrew Feldman moved all in and was called by Billy Argyros.

Feldman: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Argyros: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The flop came down {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. "What the hell is that crap?" Argyros said to the dealer.

The turn and river brought the {3-Hearts} and {4-Clubs} respectively, and Feldman doubled his stack to about 23,000.

Not Finnish-ed Yet

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

James Bord raised it up, and Patrik Antonius made the call. During the action the slightly intoxicated Billy "The Croc" Argyros started talking about how "worldly" the table is. "We've got two Aussies, two Englishman, a Russian and a Swede" referring to Patrik Antonius. Some one then corrected him, letting him know Patrik is in fact Finnish. Croc, never short for words, said "no he isn't Finnish-ed yet."

Oh by the way, Antonius won the small pot by betting the turn on a {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs} board.

With puns like that, looks like we may need to hire Argyros.

Antonius Doesn't Bite

Level 6 : 800/1,600, 100 ante

Patrik Antonius made it 2,500 to go and it folded around to Jonathan Karamalikis, in the small blind, who moved all in.

How much?" the Finn asked. The dealer counted the stack and it would cost Antonius 14,400 to make the call. After some deliberation, Antonius slid his cards toward the muck.
