Bord Takes One from the Croc

Level 6 : 800/1,600, 100 ante

James Bord made it 3,300 to go from the button. Billy Argyros made the call from the big blind and checked dark.

The flop came down {8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. "How'd you go?" Argyros asked. Bord moved all in. "Pretty good I guess," Argyros said.

After some theatrics, Argyros folded {j-}{9-} face up.

Patrik Pushes The Croc

Level 6 : 800/1,600, 100 ante

Billy "The Croc" Argyros raised it up to 3,500 and Patrik Antonius re-popped it to 8,000. Croc yapped around for a bit before calling, and then checked dark.

The flop was {2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Antonius bet enough to put Argyros all in. The Croc tanked for about five minutes stating "I'll look like an idiot on TV if I fold this hand" then stating that he had pocket tens, but that "Patrik raised my ass off."

He finally folded leaving himself about 11,000 chips behind. Antonius maintains the chip lead.

Andrew Feldman
Andrew Feldman

Patrik Antonius opened the action by min-raising to 4,000. Andrew Feldman, moved all-in for 17,900 and Antonius snap-called flipping over {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. Feldman was ahead with pocket queens, but the board killed his hopes of a double up coming out {3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

He's out 6th in this heat, while Antonius is now a dominant chip leader with close to 75,000.

The big stacks have begun to bully the shorties, moving all in whenever possible with position. We expect a slew of bustouts in the near future.

Karamalikis Hits the Rail
Karamalikis Hits the Rail

From the button, Jonathan Karamalikis moved all in for 11,000. Nikolay Evdakov, in the big blind, made the call.

Karamalikis: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Evdakov: {q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

The flop, {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} paired Karamalikis' eight. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn gave Evdakov a gutshot straight draw. He didn't hit the straight, but he did river a queen, sending Karamalikis to the rail in fifth place.
