No Back to Back for Kornuth

Webjoker • Level 13: 2,500-5,000, 500 ante
Chance Kornuth

Tomas Jozonis and Martin Kozlov got their chips in the middle before the flop with respectively pocket sixes and ace-queen. Kozlov was at risk for his last 41,000 and doubled as he hit a set on the turn to leave Jozonis drawing dead.

Jozonis would receive chips back the next hand and then some, though, as he busted defending champion Chance Kornuth. Kornuth got his short stack in with {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} up against the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} of Jozonis.

The board of {5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{K-Spades} brought no help for Kornuth and he left for the rail.
