Tollerene Doubles Badziakouski

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Play is beginning to get more aggressive as the blinds continue their inexorable climb, but now that registration is closed all players have been given a fresh set of time breaker chips meaning everyone is back up to four.

Mikita Badziakouski has not long sat down but has already earned a double courtesy of Ben Tollerene.

Preflop it was Stephen Chidwick who opened the action with a raise to 1,200 from the cutoff with Tollerene making the call from the button before Badziakouski squeezed to 4,500 from the small blind.

Fedor Holz folded the big blind and Chidwick stepped out of the way but Tollerene made the call to take play heads-up to a flop of {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Badziakouski burned through his allotted 30-seconds and burned a time break chip before moving all-in for 14,675 in total and after asking for a count and thinking about it maybe 20 seconds Tollerene made the call.

Mikita Badziakouski: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Ben Tollerene: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Tollerene was trailing to Badziakouski's pocket queens and stayed behind to grant Badziakouski the double when the turn and river came down {4-Diamonds} and {2-Clubs} respectively.

Stephen Chidwick Eliminated

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

From the cutoff, Mikita Badziakouski opened for 1,400 and big blind Stephen Chidwick called.

The flop came {3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Chidwick checked. Badziakouski carefully made a bet of 1,200 and Chidwick called. A similar pattern was seen on the {8-Spades} turn, this time for 2,500.

Chidwick checked a third time on the {K-Hearts} river. Badziakouski thought about it for just a bit before he shoved all in. Chidwick instantly called for 10,800 but was soon getting up to head for the exit as Badziakouski showed {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} for rivered top two. Chidwick mucked his {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

Ben Tollerene Eliminated

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante
Ben Tollerene

From first position, Fedor Holz raised to 1,500. Small blind Ben Tollerene thought about it for just a bit before he built a tower out of his 3,550-stack and slid it over the line. Mikit Badziakouski folded, Holz called.

Ben Tollerene: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Fedor Holz: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The {J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop favored Holz. The {J-Hearts} on the turn gave Tollerene some chop outs but the {4-Hearts} on the river wasn't a card he was looking for.

"I've been trying to do that for so many levels," Carrel said with a smile commenting on the two newcomers eliminating players.

Badziakouski Flexing Big Stack

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Play has not slowed down with the bubble rearing its ugly head with Charlie Carrel and Mikita Badziakouski playing a big pot.

Preflop it was Carrel who opened the action with a raise to 1,500 from the button and Badziakouski re-raised to 4,500 from the small blind. After Fedor Holz folded the big blind Carrel elected to call taking play heads-up to a monochrome flop of {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Badziakouski waited for nearly the full 30-seconds before deciding to continuation bet 10,000 and Carrel quickly gave it up.

Check Raise the River

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Charlie Carrel limped in from the small blind and big blind Mikita Badziakouski checked. Carrel bet 900 on {4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Badziakouski called. Both players checked the {Q-Clubs} turn and the {A-Diamonds} completed the board. Carrel checked again and Badziakouski bet 2,500. Carrel tanked, used a time breaker chip, and check-raised to 14,000. Badziakouski folded.

Carrel Flushes Badziakouski

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Mikita Badziakouski opened the action with a raise to 1,800 from the button and after Fedor Holz folded the small blind Charlie Carrel called from the big blind to take play heads-up.

The flop came down {8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Carrel check-called a Badziakouski 1,800 continuation bet to take the action to the {5-Hearts} turn, which both players checked.

The {2-Hearts} river brought four to a heart flush and Carrel led for 4,700 to send Badziakouski deep into the think tank and he burned a time breaker chip while he mulled it over but eventually threw in the call.

Carrel turned over {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a turned flush and Badziakouski folded.

Badziakouski is down to three time breaker chips, Carrel has three and Holz still has all four.

Holz Shoves

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Fedor Holz just shoved all in from the small blind over a button raise by Mikita Badziakouski. The latter folded and Holz won some chips. He's still down since our last check, though, as the blinds and antes come by often.
