Dixon Doubles Through Zhang

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Nicholas Dixon moved all in preflop from the button for his last 133,000 and small blind Haoran Zhang asked for a count before making the call.

Dixon is the at-risk player, his {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} trailing to Zhang’s {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} but the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop gave the Australian player a flush draw to go with his two live cards.

The {q-Clubs} river saw Dixon complete his flush with the river coming down a meaningless {6-Clubs} to grant the Aussie the double up. Dixon climbed to 321,000 while Zhang dropped to 697,000.

Joseph Doubles Through Aldemir

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Jeremy Joseph raised to 42,000 from under the gun and was called by Peter Aristidou on the button. Koray Aldemir was in the small blind and reraised to 145,000 as the decision fell back on Joseph. He went into the tank for almost five-minute before the clock was called on him by Aldemir.

The tournament director came over and gave the instructions that he would start his 60-second countdown only for Joseph to then move all in for 351,000.

"He didn't even take his full minute," joked Aristidou. "Now I'll take 10 minutes and then you can give me a minute too," he added, before releasing his hand to the muck.

Aldemir then paused for a moment and called.

Joseph: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Aldemir: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Joseph was at risked and outkicked until the board ran out {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} giving him an unbeatable flush on the turn and the winning hand.

Aldemir could only shake his head in disappointment as he watched the large pot get moved to his opponent.

Koren Doubles

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Artur Koren
Artur Koren

Artur Koren was all in for 353,000 up against Shurane Vijayaram. Koren showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and was up against {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The {K-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop was good for Koren but things got tricky with the {J-Hearts} on the turn. The river {5-Hearts} was a good card for Koren, however, and he doubled up.

Small Pots

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mustapha Kanit raised to 55,000 from the small blind and big blind Nicholas Wright called. Kanit bet 65,000 on {2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Wright called. Both players then checked the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and {3-Diamonds} on the river. Wright showed {K-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for the second nuts and Kanit jokingly showed the {8-Clubs} before mucking.

Joseph Left Short After Clash With Aristidou

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Jeremy Joseph raised from the cutoff and was called by Peter Aristidou in the big blind.

The flop came down {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and Aristidou checked. Joseph fired out another bet and Aristidou called.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and Aristidou checked once more. Joseph slid out 80,000 only for Aristidou to come back over the top with a raise to 180,000. Joseph called.

The {3-Diamonds} completed the board and Aristidou reached for his chips and pushed out 200,000. Jeremy called shortly after, only to muck his hand in disgust when Aristidou tabled {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a flopped full house.

Rossiter Takes One From Wright

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Action folded around to Nicholas Wright in the small blind and he bumped it up to 50,000 with Jeff Rossiter making the call from the big blind.

Wright checked the {5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop over to Rossiter who chose to take control of the hand and fired out a bet of 70,000. Wright thought it over for a minute and then threw in the call.

The {7-Hearts} turn paired the board and brought checks from both players bring the action to the {10-Hearts} river.

Wright checked for the third time and Rossiter reached for chips, firing out a bet of 165,000. Rossiter stared impassively over at Wright who, after maybe a minutes thought, pitched his cards into the muck.

Crivell Doubles Up

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Patrick Crivell was down to just seven big blinds but now he is stacking chips after doubling through Jeff Rossiter.

Rossiter raised to 50,000 on the button before Crivell moved in for his last 144,000 from the small blind. Rossiter called off the remainder and the cards went on their backs.

Crivell: {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Rossiter: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}

Crivell was in front and stayed that way as he had already locked up the pot on the turn when the board read {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} to improve him to three of a kind.

Jeremy Joseph

Koray Aldemir raised the button to 42,000 and the small blind quickly got out of the way. Big blind Jeremy Joseph, though, was down to just under 80,000 and moved all in. Aldemir didn't hesitate and called.

Jeremy Joseph: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Koray Aldemir: {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{A-Hearts} helped strengthen Aldemir's lead. Joseph was hoping for a king but it wouldn't come. Instead, the {10-Hearts} and {3-Spades} completed the board and Joseph exited in 21st place.
