Izutsu Takes Chip Lead, Burns Uses All His Time

Dominik Nitsche opened to 4,500 from the cutoff and Kahle Burns called on the button, as did Michael Soyza in the small blind.

From the big blind, Hideki Izutsu three-bet to 30,000, and after Nitsche folded, Burns called and Soyza mucked.

The flop landed {J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Izutsu checked over to Burns who bet 23,500. Izutsu quickly check-raised to 50,000 and Burns called as the {7-Spades} landed on the turn.

Izutsu looked at the dealer and announced he was all in.

Burns instantly asked for a count, and once the dealer broke it down, Izutsu's all-in bet was for 208,600 total.

Burns began to deliberate, and as his initial 30 seconds was set to expire, he flicked in a time extension button.

As that additional minute counted down to expiry, he tossed in his final time extension button.

"Five, four, three, two," counted down the dealer before Burns folded.

Izutsu dragged in the pot and claimed the chip lead off Burns.
