Sam Khouiss - "Do I Want To Gamble?"

Sam Khouiss opened the action with a raise to 800, and a player in middle position made the call. Emanuel Seal then shoved all in over the top for in excess of 16,000 chips.

Sam Khouiss goes into the tank with a huge "make or break" decision. Khouiss says "I know what you have, I just gotta decide if I want to gamble". After several minutes of thought Khouiss makes the call with {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. Seal flips over pocket tens and we have another race.

The board lands {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Khouiss is crippled while Seal leaps to around 33,000 and is one of our tournament chip leaders!

Julian Powell = Chip Leader

Julian Powell and his opponent get their chips into the middle on a flop of {6-Clubs}{K-Spades}{J-Hearts}. Powell shows {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a pair of kings which holds the lead over his opponent's {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. The turn is the {9-Diamonds} and river is {Q-Diamonds} and Powell becomes a runaway chip leader with well over 40,000 chips!

Schaefer Stumbles

On a flop of {Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs} Brandon Schaefer check-raised his opponent enough to put him to a decision for his tournament life. He made the call and showed {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. It proved to be a great call as Schaefer flipped over {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for bottom pair. The turn and river provided no help for Schaefer, leaving him with around 8,000 chips as his opponent doubled through.
